A spider hero in a real city
Spider City 3D is a free game that runs in your browser with nothing to install. The city is built at real scale: avenues twenty-two metres wide, skyscrapers up to three hundred metres, sidewalks, crosswalks and traffic lights that run the traffic. Cars stop at red lights, turn at intersections and brake if you stand in the middle of the road. Pedestrians walk the sidewalks and jump aside when you land next to them.
🕸️ Web swinging
In the air, hold the web button: the line attaches to the best building ahead of and above you. You gain speed at the bottom of the arc; let go on the way up to fly far, then attach again.
🧗 Climbing buildings
Run into a façade and you climb it. You can go around corners, move on to the building next door and vault the parapet at the top. Hold Shift to run straight up.
🎯 Zip and tokens
Aim at a point and zip: you pull yourself there. Near a roof edge it launches you on top. Gold tokens wait on the tallest roofs, on the bridge towers and in the park; your progress is saved in the browser.
🏜️ Dubai too
The Dubai button switches the setting: desert, palm trees, glass towers, the 828-metre Burj Khalifa to climb all the way to the spire, and the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab out at sea, linked to the shore by a bridge.
🌇 Day, sunset and night
Press T to change the time: at night windows, shop fronts, street lamps and headlights light up. Across the river there's a suspension bridge to climb.
