How do you solve a Rubik's Cube?
The easiest method is called layer by layer: first the cross on one face, then the four corners of the first layer, then the edges of the second, and finally you orient and permute the last layer with two or three sequences to memorise. The solver on this page uses exactly that method: press Solve and step through the moves one at a time, so you learn the pattern instead of just copying it.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The cube runs in the browser with WebGL: it works on computers, tablets and phones, even offline after the first load, and no move is ever sent to a server. Your times and settings stay on your device.
Can I train for speedcubing?
Yes: turn on the 15-second inspection, scramble with a random sequence and the timer starts by itself on your first move and stops when the cube is solved. Your best and latest times are in the side panel, along with Speffz letters to train blindfolded solving.
